Still the same flavor! Stills from Makoto Shinkai's new animated film Weathering With You are released for the first time

The first batch of stills from the new animated film "Weathering with You," written/written/directed by the famous director Makoto Shinkai, were released today, March 30. The feeling of this light and shadow painting is still the Makoto Shinkai style that fans are familiar with.

The animation "Weathering with You" is set in an era of chaotic weather changes. It tells the story of a boy and a girl who are controlled by fate and "choose" their own way of survival: high school student Morishima Hodaka runs away from home and goes to Tokyo, where he meets Amano Haruna, a girl with incredible power - she can make the weather clear by praying.

The two protagonists are voiced by Daigo Kotaro (starring in the stage version of Yowamushi Pedal) and Mori Nanana (Japanese version of Hello, Hana). The former is voiced by Morishima Hodaka and the latter is voiced by Amano Haruna. The production company is still CoMix Wave Film (Your Name, The Garden of Words).
