Mobile Suit Gundam Hollywood live-action version to be written by Lost screenwriter

Gundam, which was created in 1979, has been popular all over the world for 40 years and has set off a big wave. Last year, Legendary Pictures, which produced science fiction blockbusters such as Pacific Rim and Godzilla, announced that it would work with Japan's Sunrise to create a live-action version of Mobile Suit Gundam. Today, the screenwriter of the movie has been confirmed to be Brian K. Vaughan, who wrote the third and fourth seasons of Lost and the first season of Under the Dome.

"Gundam" has always been a popular animation image in the world. For 40 years, the TV animation, movies, games, figures, toys and comics have been selling well all over the world. In Steven Spielberg's movie "Ready Player One", the original Gundam came to make a cameo appearance in the battle against Mechagodzilla. This time, the live-action version of "Mobile Suit Gundam" created by the old Japanese animation company "Sunrise Animation" and Hollywood "Legendary Pictures" will surely clear everyone's movie ticket balance again and usher in an explosive presentation on the screen.

It is reported that the film's screenwriter Brian K. Vaughn has signed a three-year TV and film cooperation agreement with Legendary Pictures in December last year, from which he can better improve his work and develop new film IP. At present, the official has not disclosed more content about the live-action movie "Mobile Suit Gundam".
