"Green Book" grossed over 100 million yuan in China in 3 days after its release, and Jack Ma watched it three times

The Oscar-winning best picture "Green Book" was released in mainland China on March 1. As of now, the film's domestic box office has exceeded 100 million yuan, reaching 113 million yuan.

In comparison, the cumulative box office of last year's Oscar-winning film "The Shape of Water" in mainland China was only 105 million yuan. Although both films seem to be Oscar-winning films, the responses they received in mainland China are worlds apart.

It is worth mentioning that Green Book was co-invested by Alibaba Pictures, and it is also the first Oscar-winning film invested by a Chinese film company.
