C-3PO robot actor Anthony tweeted that "Star Wars 9" has been successfully filmed

"Star Wars 9", the latest installment of the immortal monumental series in the history of science fiction movies, has been successfully filmed and has entered post-production. Anthony Daniels, who plays the most unsung hero in the series, the C-3PO robot, revealed this reassuring news to fans on Twitter today.

"Star Wars 9" is a science fiction action film produced by Disney Pictures, directed by J.J. Abrams, and co-starred by Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, and Oscar Isaac. The film is scheduled to be released in the United States on December 20, 2019.

"JJ delivered everything we could have hoped for with The Force Awakens," said Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy. "I'm so excited that he's coming back to close out this trilogy."
