According to the Hollywood Reporter, "Doctor Strange" director Scott Derrickson has already negotiated with Disney to film the sequel "Doctor Strange 2". Benedict Cumberbatch, Benedict Wong, and Rachel McAdams, who played Doctor Strange's girlfriend Christine Palmer in the first movie, will all return. "Doctor Strange 2" currently lacks a screenwriter. Marvel is currently looking for a screenwriter and plans to complete the script in 2019, start filming in the spring of 2020, and release it in May 2021. |
