Venom 3 officially announced and will be released on October 25 this year

Sony Pictures has announced the official title and release date of Venom 3. The third film in the series starring Tom Hardy is named Venom: The Last Dance.

The release date of "Venom 3" has also been slightly advanced, and is scheduled to be released in North America on October 25, 2024. It was previously rescheduled to November 8, 2024.

The film was originally scheduled to be released in June this year, but production was halted midway due to the SAG-AFTRA strike last year.

Tom Hardy's choice of costume in a set photo shared earlier this month sparked speculation that the sequel might pick up directly from Spider-Man 3: No Homecoming. However, specific plot details for Venom: The Last Rage have yet to be revealed.

Venom: The Last Rush will star Juno Temple and Chiwetel Ejiofor in addition to Hardy, and will be written and directed by Kelly Marcel, who will be making her directorial debut as the screenwriter for the first Venom and the 2021 sequel Venom 2: Beginning of Carnage.
