"Annabelle 3" cast revealed, "The Conjuring" couple joins

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Wilson and Farmiga, the male and female protagonists of "The Conjuring" and "The Conjuring 2", will make their debut in the spin-off series "Annabelle 3", continuing to play the roles they played in the original "The Conjuring" movie: Ed and Warren.

We know that in the "Conjuring" series of movies, the Warrens locked the doll Annabell, who was possessed by an evil spirit, in their collection house. They thought that this would prevent Annabell from harming the world again, but Annabell soon targeted the Warrens' 10-year-old daughter Judy (played by Mckenna Grace). This will be focused on in the rumored movie "Annabelle 3".

The third Annabell movie, which has yet to be named, will be directed by Gary Dauberman, who wrote the first two Annabell movies. James Wan, the director of The Conjuring 1 and 2, will serve as producer.

Since the first film was released in 2013, the Conjuring universe has exploded, with multiple films grossing over $1.56 billion worldwide. In addition to the sequel The Conjuring 2, two Annabell spinoffs, the box office hit The Nun, there is also a sequel The Conjuring 3, spin-off films The Crooked Man, and Annabell 3.

It is worth mentioning that The Nun is the highest-grossing film in the Conjuring Universe so far, with a global box office of $360 million. The first Annabell in 2014 grossed $84.27 million in North America and $257 million worldwide with a low budget of $6.5 million; Annabell 2, which was released last year, achieved even better results, with a cost of $15 million, and a North American box office of over $100 million and a global box office of over $300 million.

"Annabelle 3" is the sixth film in the "Conjuring" universe and will be released in North America on July 3, 2019. The original film "The Conjuring 3" is also in development, but James Wan will no longer direct it, and the 23-year-old young director Michael Chavez will take over.
