"IT" has received rave reviews! The global box office has exceeded $700 million

As of last Thursday, the film's box office revenue in Japan has reached 19.2 million US dollars, bringing the global total box office of "IT" to more than 700 million US dollars (about 4.5 billion RMB). Considering that the film was not released in China, it is amazing to achieve this number.

"IT" grossed $327.5 million in North America and $372.7 million overseas. The highest-grossing countries and regions were the United Kingdom with $42.5 million, Germany with $35.4 million, and Mexico with $27.6 million.

Since its release in September last year, IT has broken many records. It replaced The Exorcist and successfully topped the global horror film box office list, setting a record for the first opening of horror films in the United States. It is also one of the top ten best-selling domestic films in North America in 2017.

In addition, preparations for the sequel to "IT", "IT: Chapter 2", have begun and the film is scheduled to be released on September 6, 2019.
