Watchmen Creator Alan Moore's Final Comic Book Is Coming in October

Alan Moore, a British cartoonist and novelist who created works such as "Watchmen", "V for Vendetta" and "From Hell", is also a mystic.

Twenty years ago it was announced that Alan Moore would distill his knowledge of this esoteric field into an easily digestible book, to be titled The Moon and Serpent Bumper Book of Magic.

This book was co-authored by Alan Moore and his late friend Steve Moore. Recently, the release date of the book was finally confirmed and it will be published in October 2024.

Designed as "a clear and practical book of occult magic", this 352-page hardcover also doubles as a graphic biography of many famous magicians. It's a unique combination of writing, illustration, and comics - including Alan Moore's last work in serial art after his retirement from the medium.

The Moon and Serpent Bumper Book of Magic was originally planned to include a brand new tarot deck, but Alan Moore gave up this idea when it came time to publish it.
