Stills from the second season of Netflix's hit series "Squid!" The first season scored 7.7 on Douban! Director/writer/producer Hwang Dong Hyuk continues to create the series, with Lee Jung Jae, Lee Byung Hun, Wi Gu Jun, and Gong Yoo returning to star!

Park Gyu-young, Im Si-wan, Kang Ha-na, Park Sung-hoon, Liang Dong-geun, Cho Yoo-ri, Kang Ae-sin, Lee David, Lee Jin-woo and others joined. The second season was launched this year, still with Sung Ki-hoon (played by Lee Jung-jae) as the core of the story, telling the awakening, change and revenge of Sung Ki-hoon who dyed his hair red.

"Squid Game" Season 1 is a Netflix Korean original series launched globally on September 17, 2021. The series is directed and written by Hwang Dong Hyuk, and it is also his first time directing a Netflix original series. The series tells the story of 456 players with different backgrounds but equally high debts who participate in a series of deadly children's games in order to win a prize of 45.6 billion won.
