Josh Hutcherson reveals Five Nights at Freddy's sequel is in the works

"Five Nights at Freddy's," an adaptation of the classic horror game series "Five Nights at Freddy's," has become one of the most successful movies at the box office in 2023.

Recently, the leading actor Josh Hutcherson revealed in an interview with foreign media "Variety" that the progress of "Five Nights at Freddy's 2" is smooth.

"I know they're finalizing the story right now and they want to get started as soon as possible," Josh Hutcherson said. "It's obvious that they're all amazing and working hard. It's amazing and cool for me to be a part of it."

Hutchison also expressed hope that the film "will connect with audiences," though he "don't think anybody, even on our side, expects it to really connect as much as it did."

He also very much wants to return to the set because the director Emma Tammi is very good and the world view of the film is "a very interesting world, and I am very excited to see what they are going to do next."
