"Garfield" animated movie reveals new New Year's Eve poster and will be released this summer

The "Garfield" animated film produced by Sony and produced by Alcon Entertainment has released a new New Year's Eve poster and is scheduled to be released in North America in the summer of 2024 .

Adapted from the comic book of the same name by Jim Davis, the Garfield animated film is directed by Mark Tindale, written by David Reynolds, with Chris Pratt, Samuel L. Jackson, Ving Rhames, Nicholas Hoult, Hannah Waddingham, Cecily Strong, Harvey Keen, Brett Goldstein and Bowen Yang as the main voice actors.

The four-frame comic book "Garfield" created by Jim Davis in 1987 tells the story of a cat named Garfield and his owner, Old Ginger. The work is centered around the narcissistic and opinionated Garfield, the indecisive Old Ginger, and the simple and empty-headed dog Odie, who unfolds an interesting daily life.

The animated film stars Chris Pratt, the actor who plays Star-Lord in Guardians of the Galaxy, as the protagonist Garfield, while Samuel L. Jackson will also voice a brand new character, Vic.

This movie will describe how Garfield and Odie are forced to join Vic and are involved in a robbery after they unexpectedly meet their long-lost father, the bearded street cat Vic.
