Netflix officially announced that the highly acclaimed violent aesthetic animation "Blue Eyes Samurai" has been renewed for a second season. Revenge will never stop and A Shui will continue to shed blood. The first season was co-created by the husband-and-wife team of Michael Green and Amber Noizumi, writers of "Logan 3" and "Blade Runner 2049", and they will still be at the helm of the second season. The couple also said that the show was partly inspired by their daughter and hoped to shoot a total of four seasons. Amber Noizumi and Michael Green said in a statement: "We are grateful to our entire team and our audiences around the world for their enthusiasm for Shui and her journey of revenge. There is more blood to be spilled in Shui! We are so grateful to our partners at Netflix for allowing this journey to continue." The first season of "Blue Eyed Samurai" was launched on November 3, with Maya Erskine, George Takei, Hiroyuki Tagawa, Masu Oo, Brenda Song and others participating in the dubbing.
