Ellie actor: No need to worry about the quality of The Last of Us Season 2

Bella Ramsey, who plays Ellie in HBO's The Last of Us, said in a recent interview that many people are worried that the show may hit a "season two slump" and that some producers and fans have a "huge fear" that season two won't be as good as season one.

But Ramsey said these concerns are completely unfounded because the team and the plan are right and The Last of Us Season 2 will definitely be a success. Ramsey said: "I have great confidence in the creators. I think they are very good. I think we will do well and surpass the first season."

In the interview, Ramsay also talked about his relationship with Pedro Pascal (Joel). Joel and Ellie are the two protagonists in the show, and the interaction between the two is crucial to the entire series. If there is no chemistry or poor cooperation between the two, then the show may be affected. But fortunately, there is no such situation between the two.

“I was really worried that we wouldn’t click or that we wouldn’t be able to relate to each other because we were going to be together for a year and then we were going to be doing a lot of promotion together,” Ramsay said. “I was really scared that we wouldn’t click.”

Ramsay added: "So it was a big relief. We got along really well, actually. We were both very shy around each other at first. Then we spent a lot of time in the car on set just connecting and just deepening our connection."

The second season of The Last of Us will begin filming in February 2024, with Ramsay and Pascal both returning. In addition, an actor who will play Abby has been confirmed, but the actor has not yet been announced.

The second season of The Last of Us may not be broadcast until at least 2025. In terms of games, The Last of Us 2: Remastered will be released in January 2024.
