Today (August 30), Tencent Video announced the launch of the "Timid Movie Viewing Mode", which can be turned on with one click to help you stay warm and protected, so you don't have to miss many horror movies out of fear.

It is reported that after turning on the "cowardly mode" , there will be magic barrage to block high-energy horror shots, and the volume can be automatically lowered when encountering creepy background music. What's more interesting is that many horror movies have pitch-black backgrounds, and with the cowardly mode, you can "turn on the lights" with one click to illuminate the gloomy background.

However, currently the "cowardly mode" is only compatible with the following five films: "The Ghost Stories of Huangmiao Village", "Mr. Yin and Yang", "The Legend of the Greater Khingan Range Hunter 2", "The Ghost Stories of the Night Watchmen" and "The River God". You can turn on the "cowardly mode" according to the prompts while watching the film.

In addition, the Tencent Video App needs to be updated to the latest version 8.9.20.0 to have the "cowardly mode".
