The 17-year-old girl manga "Red-haired Snow White" announced that it would stop updating

Hakusensha's LaLa magazine announced in its August issue that Akizuki Sorata's shoujo manga "The Red-haired Snow White" will be discontinued. The magazine said it will announce when the manga will resume publication later, but has not yet made clear the reason for the suspension.

The manga was first serialized in Hakusensha's LaLaDX in 2006, and then in LaLa in 2011. On May 2 of this year, Hakusensha released the 25th volume of the manga, and will release the 26th volume on July 5.

The story tells about a red-haired girl named Snow White, who went on the run because of her special hair color and met a prince named Chi. In order to repay Chi's kindness, she used her own abilities to become a court pharmacist to assist him. The plot actually has nothing to do with Snow White.

The manga was also adapted into a two-season TV anime. The first season aired in July 2015, and the second season aired in January 2016. The two seasons have a total of 24 episodes.
