According to foreign media and Hollywood Handle, DreamWorks announced new news about the movie "Kung Fu Panda 4" at CinemaCon, the 2023 Las Vegas International Film Industry Expo. The director of the animated film "Kung Fu Panda 4" is confirmed to be Mike Mitchell, who has directed the 3D movies "Shrek the Monsters 4", "Alvin and the Chipmunks 3", and "SpongeBob SquarePants", and has also served as a voice actor for "Kung Fu Panda 3".

In addition, the official revealed that the main villain of Kung Fu Panda 4 is "The Chameleon", who can summon the villains that Po has encountered before, namely Taro, Lord Shen and Tiansha. And Po will look for the successor of "Dragon Warrior" in the fourth film.
