Starring of the live-action movie "Lilo & Stitch" announces plans to release it on Disney+

Hollywoodreporter reported today (April 1) that the starring cast of Disney's "Lilo & Stitch" live-action movie has been announced. Newcomer Maya Kealoha will play Lilo and Zach Galifianakis will voice the one-eyed Thunderbolt.

The film will be directed by Dean Fleischer-Kamp (Marcel the Shell in the Shoes), written by Chris Kekaniokalani Bright, and produced by Aladdin producers Dan Lin and Jonathan Eirich. It is planned to be released on Disney+.

The 2002 animated film "Lilo & Stitch" tells the adventure story of a lonely Hawaiian girl, Lilo, and a mischievous alien creature, Stitch. It was directed by Chris Sanders and Dean DeBlois, and voiced by Devi Chase, Tia Carrera, David Alden Stiles, Kevin McDonald, Jason Lee, Ving Rhames and others.
