Charlie Cox Says Daredevil: Resurgence Will Be Darker Than Netflix Series

The "Daredevil" series launched on Netflix has aired three seasons. The latest season of the series will be aired in March 2025 under the name "Daredevil: Rebirth".

Recently, actor Charlie Cox, who plays Daredevil, revealed in an interview with foreign media "Entertainment" that the show will be darker than previous Netflix series and try to capture a similar "dark and sinister" atmosphere, which is very different from previous claims that the new series will give people a lighter feeling.

Charlie Cox also said: "What we have been talking about is that the reason why this show has been successful and attracted a certain group of people is that it is one of the few superhero shows that is sometimes very dark and sinister."

While Daredevil is often compared to DC's Batman (as they are both known for being complex and brooding characters), Netflix has toned down the violence in the series in order to appeal to a wider audience. However, considering the new statement from the star, the upcoming series Daredevil: Rebirth is expected to show Daredevil's actions in a more violent and graphic way.
