The new poster of Disney+'s new drama "Journey to the West ABC" will be launched on May 24

Sina Films reported today (March 30) that Disney+'s new drama "Journey to the West ABC" released a new poster, starring Wang Ban, Michelle Yeoh, Daniel Wu, Kwan Chi-wai, Yann Yeung, Chin-Han Huang, Liu Jing, Cydney Taylor, Tiffany Hsu, and Lu Yan. The series is based on the adventures of young people, and the world of Chinese mythology intersects with contemporary American life. It will be launched on May 24.

Based on the bestselling comic novel of the same name by Michelle Yeoh, ABC of Journey to the West will premiere in spring 2023. Michelle Yeoh plays Guanyin, a humble aunt who helps her nephew Wei Chen cope with the challenges of an American high school while keeping her secret identity as the Bodhisattva Guanyin. Tiffany Hsu plays Shiji Niangniang, who works in a jewelry store with her magical dog. Daniel Wu plays the Monkey King Sun Wukong, who comes to look for his son, and Stephen Kwan plays Freddy Wong, a fictional 1990s sitcom star.
