"Crocodile Lai Lai" is scheduled to be released on the big screen on April 15 in China

Today (March 9), Sony Pictures' official Weibo account announced that the film "Crocodile Lalai" has been scheduled for release in China and will be released nationwide on April 15. The film "Crocodile Lalai" is adapted from the globally popular picture book series of the same name. "Moe" Shawn Mendes voices Lalai. It is created by the Oscar-winning music team of "La La Land" and stars such as Oscar winner Javier Bardem and Hollywood actress Constance Wu have joined the cast.

Plot summary:

When the Primm family moves into their new home in New York City, their young son Josh has a hard time adjusting to his new school and new friends. That all changes when he discovers a singing alligator living in the attic of his new home. Named Layla, this "unusual, wonderful, incredible" alligator dances, sings, and loves baths and caviar. Layla forms a friendship and kinship with the Primms that transcends race.
