The filming schedule for "The Chronicles of Narnia", directed by "Barbie" director Greta Gerwig, has been confirmed. In an interview with Deadline, filmmaker Amy Pascal revealed that filming will begin in July 2025. She also revealed an interesting fact about the film, saying that the new film "is a completely new interpretation of Narnia. It's all about Rock n' Roll." It's unclear what that means, but one of Greta Gerwig's specialties is giving the original work a new and different interpretation, as she did with Barbie and Little Women. According to previous reports, Gerwig will be responsible for directing at least two "Chronicles of Narnia" movies for Netflix. There are seven original novels, so it is not known which novels these two will be adapted from. |
