The first season of the TV series "Percy Jackson" was completed and launched on Disney+

The first season of the Disney+ series "Percy Jackson" has been completed. The series stars Scobell ("The Adam Project") as Percy, Aryan Simhadri (the new version of "Baby by the Dozen") as Grover Underwood, Leah Sava Jeffries ("Empire") as Annabeth Chase, and Lin-Manuel Miranda as Hermes, the messenger god and trickster who searches for travelers and thieves.

The previous movie version of "Percy Jackson" starred Logan Lerman and others. The adaptation of the novel caused great opposition from the original author Rick Riordan, who expressed dissatisfaction many times. This time, Riordan was deeply involved in the series and said that the series will be more faithful to the original work, with a younger protagonist and the story line of the first series of the novel. The first season will start with "The Lightning Thief" - Percy goes to find Zeus' thunderbolt to stop the war between the Greek gods.
