Star Wars: Fantasyland Season 2 Animation Studio Announces May 4th Premiere

The official website of the Star Wars series recently announced that the second season of the multi-studio animation collection project "Star Wars: Fantasy Land" will premiere on Disney+ on May the 4th (Star Wars Day).

Unlike the first season, which was all produced by Japanese creators and animation studios, the second season will include short films from animation studios around the world. D'Art Shtaijo, an American-run animation studio headquartered in Japan, will be the only animation studio from Japan in the new season in cooperation with Lucasfilm.

The studios and shorts for Season 2 are as follows:

"Sith" - Spanish studio El Guiri

"Screecher's Reach" - Cartoon Saloon, Ireland

“I the Stars” - Chilean studio Punkrobot

"I Am Your Mother" - British studio Aardman

"Journey to the Dark Head" - South Korean studio Studio Mir

“The Spy Dancer” – Studio La Cachette, France

“The Bandits of Golak” – Indian studio 88 Pictures

“Aau’s Song” – Triggerfish, South Africa
