The Last of Us sales in the UK increased by 238% after the TV series aired

Driven by the launch of the HBO live-action drama, sales of "The Last of Us" in the UK soared 238% last week.

According to foreign media GamesIndustry.biz, the PS5 version of The Last of Us has squeezed into the top 20 of the UK physical game sales list (although it is at the bottom), with sales increasing by 238% compared to last week. The PS4 version of the game, The Last of Us: Remastered, has also re-entered the list, ranking 32nd, with sales increasing by 332%.

Other games that saw a "surge" in sales included Battlefield 2042 (177%), which was on sale for $10 at both Argos and Amazon, while survival horror game Callisto Protocol returned to the list (No. 16), with sales increasing by 83% after being marked down to $30 at some retailers.
