Hideaki Anno edited the first Kamen Rider Photo Album, which will be released in February

The "Kamen Rider Photo Album 1971-1973", which contains information on the first generation of works in the classic special effects series "Kamen Rider", has been announced to be released in Japan on February 10, 2023.

Hideaki Anno, who directed Neon Genesis Evangelion and was responsible for the scriptwriting and supervision of Shin Kamen Rider, will also be in charge of compiling this book. The book will include more than 1,000 photographs and design drawings by the original author Shotaro Ishimori, totaling more than 300 pages.

In addition, the photo book will also include a special interview between cartoonists Kenichi Murae and Hideaki Anno, who drew "Kamen Rider SPIRITS" and "Shin Kamen Rider SPIRITS".

The first "Masked Rider" was broadcast from April 3, 1971 to February 10, 1973, and is an eternal classic in the hearts of fans of the series. The sequel "Masked Rider V3" also continued in February 1973.

The photo book is priced at 8,800 yen (tax included) and will be in full color in A4 size. The specific store where it will be sold has not yet been announced.
