Movie releases its first clip: The film is jointly produced by Nintendo and Illumination Entertainment. Chris Pratt voices Mario, Anya Taylor-Joy plays Princess Peach, Charlie Day plays Luigi, Jack Black plays Bowser, Keegan-Michael Key plays Toad, Seth Rogen plays Donkey Kong, Fred Armisen plays Kranky, Kevin Michael Richardson plays Kamek, Sebastian Manisco plays Spike, and Charles Martinez makes a cameo appearance. It is directed by Aaron Horvath & Michael Jelenic (Teen Titans Go), written by Matthew Fogel (Minions 2, The Lego Movie 2), and will be released in North America on April 7, 2023.
