With the upcoming release of the Sonic the Hedgehog 3 movie, Reebok has decided that audiences need a pair of sneakers that resemble Sonic and his friends. On December 6, Reebok will release four special edition sneakers featuring Sonic the Hedgehog, Knuckles, and Tails. They even have a pair with the opposite color of Sonic if you prefer that style! You can see all of them on Reebok's official website , and they're divided into adult and children's shoes. The three main shoes resemble the characters themselves in many ways. Each shoe has a small detail on the heel that pays homage to the character. Sonic's shoe has a gold ring on the heel and a pattern that's reminiscent of the levels he's been through. Tails's shoe has a gold tail on the heel. Finally, Knuckles' shoe has a pair of spikes on the heel to represent his fists. “It’s been so exciting to work with an iconic footwear brand like Reebok to bring Sonic’s fast, fun and exciting energy to the feet of fans,” said Erin Trachtenberg, senior vice president of global partnerships at Paramount Pictures, in a statement about the shoe line. “It’s a great way to pay tribute to the franchise and the new film by giving Sonic fans a range of products they can engage with and express their fandom – we think people are really going to love it.” |
