Deadpool 3, Gamer's Director to Direct New Star Wars Movie

According to Deadline, Shawn Levy, the director of Deadpool 3, Ready Player One, and The Adam Project, is in talks to direct a Star Wars movie. Before the Star Wars movie, Shawn Levy will first shoot Deadpool 3 starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman.

Apparently Lucasfilm is developing multiple Star Wars movies in parallel, and it has been confirmed that several directors will develop Star Wars movies: Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy (director of Ms. Marvel), Taika Waititi (director of Thor 4), and Rian Johnson (director of Star Wars 8 and Knives Out).

Shawn Levy is currently in the post-production of the limited series "All the Light We Cannot See" for Netflix. He has directed four episodes of this series. He will also direct at least two episodes of the fifth and final season of Netflix's "Stranger Things". So far, Shawn Levy has directed 10 episodes of the "Stranger Things" series.

"Deadpool 3" will be released on September 6, 2024, and fans will see Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool and Hugh Jackman's Wolverine in a dreamlike frame.
