Disney's "The Little Mermaid" live-action movie first released poster

Disney has released the first poster for its live-action The Little Mermaid movie.

In the poster, Halle Bailey's Ariel sits on a rock on the seabed, looking out at the world above. This is also our best look at Ariel from head to toe so far, as the D23 trailer didn't show many shots of the character.

Ariel's sitting posture in the poster almost reproduces the original poster of "The Little Mermaid", in which she is sitting on a rock protruding from the sea, gazing at the stars.

The Little Mermaid will be released on May 26, 2023, and was previously filmed on a beach in Italy.
