Universal Pictures officially released the trailer for "Super Mario Bros. The Movie" today. The film is co-produced by Nintendo and "Despicable Me" production company ILLUMINATION, co-directed by Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic, and will be released in North America on April 7, 2023, and in Japanese theaters on April 27, 2023. There is no plan to release it on streaming media. The movie highly restores the Mushroom Kingdom and tells the story of Bowser invading the Penguin Kingdom.
