The animated version of Shenmue may only have one season. Although the second season is in preparation, there is no certainty.

Jason DeMarco, the producer of the animated version of "Shenmue" adapted from the classic game, recently tweeted about the progress of the animated version and expressed concern that the animated version of "Shenmue" may only have one season, because preparations for the second season are going smoothly, but there has been no clear instructions from higher-ups.
