"The Mermaid 2" is scheduled to be released in the fourth quarter of 2022, starring Allen and Lin Yun

Recently, Huayi Brothers released its 2022 semi-annual report and announced the progress and release plans of several key films in the second half of the year.

The report shows that the movie "Mermaid 2" directed by Stephen Chow has entered the post-production stage and is expected to be released in the fourth quarter of 2022 or the company may make other adjustments based on actual conditions.

Previously, director Tian Hanyu revealed that the theme of "The Mermaid 2" is still about the relationship between mermaids and humans. The plot involves space and five-dimensional space. The male and female protagonists are Allen and Lin Yun respectively.
