The second season of the popular suspense drama "Night Agents" was first released and will be broadcast on January 23

Streaming service Netflix has released the first trailer for the highly anticipated second season of The Night Agent.

In the trailer, the protagonist of the first season, Peter (played by Gabriel Basso), returns again, and the risks he faces seem to be higher than in the first season. The first season was more about conspiracy, and according to the trailer, the second season will have more action scenes, and Peter will be alone.

"Night Agents" is created by Shawn Ryan ("S.W.A.T.") and is based on the novel of the same name by novelist Matthew Quirk. The first season was a "dark horse", unexpectedly gaining 168 million hours of viewing popularity within 6 days of its premiere on March 23, 2023. Netflix quickly renewed the second season and renewed the third season before the second season was confirmed.

The second season of the series will premiere on January 23.
