'Stranger Things' star Maya Hawke to star in new film 'Revolver' with her father

According to Variety, Maya Hawke, who plays the female character Robin in Stranger Things, will co-star with her father, Ethan Hawke, who is also a famous movie star, in the new film Revolver, and they will still play father and daughter in the film. The story is set in the United States in the 1960s. It is a romantic comedy and will be directed by Andrew Stanton, the screenwriter of WALL·E. The new film will be announced at the upcoming American Film Market.

The screenplay, written by Kate Trefry, takes place on June 27, 1966, when the Beatles' flight to Japan is forced to make an unexpected stop in Anchorage, Alaska. The band stays in a hotel, and Jane (Maya Hawke) wants to fulfill the ultimate teenage dream through a plan.

In addition to her celebrity father, Maya Hawke's mother is Ethan Hawke's ex-wife, Uma Thurman, who played the heroine in "Pulp Fiction".
