The official trailer of the action drama "Queen" focuses on 18th century African female warriors

Recently, the official trailer of the historical drama film "The Queen" starring Viola Davis was released. The trailer is magnificent and makes people's blood boil. Let's enjoy it together!

The film focuses on the famous Dahomey Kingdom in the 18th and 19th centuries in African history, which had an all-female army called the "Dahomey Beauty Warriors", also known as the "Dahomey Amazons". In modern comics, the Amazon tribe of Wonder Woman and the Dora Milaje, the female guard of Black Panther, all have the shadow of the Dahomey Beauty Warriors.

The Queen is directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood and will be released in North America on September 16. The protagonist is General Nanisca, played by Davis, and tells the story of her teaming up with new recruit Nawi and others to defend the country from the enemy. Tuso Mbedu, Lashana Lynch, John Boyega, Helo Fiennes-Tiffin, Jamie Lawson and others also star.
