The Lord of the Rings: The Power of the Rings New Trailer High King and Elrond and Others Appear

Recently, a new trailer for "The Lord of the Rings: The Power of the Rings" was leaked, showing the "High King" Gilgalad, the forge master Celebrimbor, the young Elrond, the "Hair-footed Hobbit" Sadoc Burrows and Galadriel.

Set in the Second Age, thousands of years before the film adaptations of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, The Lord of the Rings: The Power of the Rings takes audiences back to a time when powerful magic was formed, kingdoms flourished and fell, humble heroes were tested, hope hung on a thread, and Tolkien's most powerful villain threatened to bring darkness to the world. Starting in a time of relative peace, the series tells the story of a group of new and old faces facing the resurgence of evil in Middle-earth. From the darkest depths of the Misty Mountains, to the majestic forests of Lindon, the capital of the Elf, to the breathtaking Empire of Númenor and the farthest reaches of the map, the legacies of these kingdoms and characters live on.

The Lord of the Rings: The Power of the Rings is adapted from Tolkien's novel of the same name. The plot is set thousands of years before the stories of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. It is directed by J.A. Bayona and Wayne Yeh, starring Lenny Henry, Peter Mullan, Cynthia Addai-Robinson, etc. The first season will premiere on September 2, with a total of 8 episodes.
