"Dune 2" postponed, new "Godzilla vs. Kong" movie announced to be released in 2024

According to Variety, Warner Bros.' film "Dune 2" has been postponed to November 17, 2023, compared to its original release date of October 20, 2023. Among the new release dates, Dune 2 will be released in theaters alongside Lionsgate's The Hunger Games prequel The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, and Universal Pictures' Trolls 3. In addition, Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures also announced that an untitled "Godzilla vs. Kong" film will be released on March 15, 2024 . Additionally, Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Zendaya, Josh Brolin and Javier Bardem will return for Dune 2, with Florence Pugh, Austin Butler and Christopher Walken joining the cast. Dune 2 is expected to begin filming later this year. |
