Natalie Portman worked out for 10 months for Thor 4, sometimes starting work at 4:30 a.m.

Natalie Portman's muscles as the female Thor in "Thor 4" are amazing. Her fitness coach Naomi Pendergast recently revealed some details in an interview. Portman trained for a total of 10 months, including boxing, dumbbells, etc.

The coach said that the main parts of the training are the arms and abdomen. In order to ensure safety, Portman first underwent about four months of adaptation and adjustment to avoid overloading and joint damage. The training started five months before the filming and continued during the filming process, with a total time of about ten months. The content is to exercise the upper body three times a week, including arms, back, and chest, and perform boxing, jumping, running and other exercises. The remaining two days are dedicated to injury prevention, including Pilates-based exercises, stretching exercises, relaxation sessions and balance exercises.

She did not suffer any major injuries during the whole process, except for some wrist and neck soreness, which can be relieved by massage. The training time is about 1.5-2 hours a day. If the shooting schedule is tight, she will start at 4:30 in the morning. Portman is a vegetarian and has a healthy and clean diet. There is not much change in this regard. She will add some vegetarian protein powder every day to build muscle.
