The "Star Wars" movie directed by Taika Waititi, the director of "Thor 3" and "Thor 4", is expected to be released at the end of 2023. In an interview with Total Film, Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy was asked if the Waititi project would be the next Star Wars movie to be released, and whether it would arrive next year. In response, Kennedy said: "Yeah, uh, not 2023, but the end of 2023. We haven't finalized the date yet." Details about the film are scarce, with the official name, plot and location in the Star Wars movie universe not even announced. Waititi mentioned in August last year that his Star Wars movie story would be in his own style. Last weekend's Star Wars Celebration lacked any movie-related news, but instead announced a number of TV series and animation news, as well as a related game, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. |
