The live-action series of "Resident Evil" has released a preview trailer and is expected to be exclusively broadcast on Netflix on July 14. The series is written by Andrew Dabb ("Supernatural") and the film producer Constantine Films continues to create a total of 8 episodes, which is a brand new story.

"Resident Evil" live-action series preview:

The Resident Evil live-action series has two timelines: the first tells the story of 14-year-old sisters Jade and Billie Wesker who move to Raccoon City and gradually discover that something is wrong here and that their father may have a dark secret that could destroy the world; the second tells the future more than a decade later, when there are less than 15 million people left on Earth and the number of zombies infected with the T virus and mutated by humans and animals is as high as 6 billion. Jade, who has grown to 30, struggles to survive in this new world, and the secrets related to her, her sisters and her father still linger.
