Bridgerton Season 2 sets new Netflix record with 620 million hours watched

The streaming giant Netflix's most watched new series record was broken by the super popular drama "Bridgerton" Season 2. The latest statistics today reached 627.11 million hours, far exceeding the previous record of the first season.

"Bridgerton" is an original British costume drama produced by Netflix, directed by Julie Anne Robinson, and starring Julie Andrews, Phoebe Dyvenor, Reggie-Jean Page, Adriaan Andoh, Jonathan Bailey and others. The first season was broadcast on December 25, 2020.

The drama is adapted from Julia Quinn's best-selling novel and is known as the costume version of "Gossip Girl". It tells the story of eight close-knit siblings of the Bridgerton family looking for love and happiness in London's upper class.
