LGBTQ+ animated film "Nimona" moves to Netflix after being abandoned by Disney

The highly anticipated medieval + animation + LGBTQ + animated film "Nimona" was once abandoned by Disney, but Netflix, which has never rejected excellent topical works, recently announced that it would take over. Nimona is an animated film directed by Nick Bruno and Troy Quinn, starring Amanda Rabinowitz. The film is adapted from the comic book of the same name by Noel Stevenson. The story takes place in the Middle Ages and combines fantasy and science fiction. The protagonist Nimona is a young shapeshifter who follows a knight who later becomes a mad scientist and is hunted by his mortal enemies.
