The Hanshin Tigers, a famous baseball team with nearly a hundred years of history, faces off against the invincible Godzilla. Many current baseball stars will appear in real life. The Hanshin Tigers are a Japanese professional baseball team founded in 1935. They are one of the oldest professional clubs in Japan and are based in Koshien Nishinomiya (located in Hyōgo Prefecture, Japan), as well as in the Central League. The Hanshin Tigers are directly owned by Hankyu Hanshin Holdings, a subsidiary of Hanshin Electric Railway Co., Ltd. The team's circular logo is very similar to the classic Detroit Tigers logo, but that version of the Tigers is orange, while Hanshin's is yellow. The Tigers' cap logo is very similar to that of the New York Yankees, and they also often wear similar pinstripe uniforms.
