The director of "John Wick" talks about the fifth film in the series: If I think of a good idea, I will shoot it immediately

Chad Stahelski, the director of the "John Wick" series of films, was recently asked about "John Wick 5" in an interview with foreign media "Business Insider".

The director said: "When you love someone or something, you will love someone or something. For example, I am obsessed with "John Wick". I fell in love with the production process and story of this series of movies. Keanu Reeves and I both feel that if we wake up tomorrow and have a good idea, we will shoot it. You can bet on it."

Chad Stahelski is currently working on the remake of Highlander starring Henry Cavill, and is also involved in the production of John Wick: Chapter 11. Reports about the fifth film in the John Wick series first appeared in May 2023, when Lionsgate announced that a new film was in production, but Stahelski was not so eager to confirm it.

He mentioned at the time: "If we feel that we can do it without deceiving the fans and can give more, I will do it tomorrow. But I don't have this plan now."
