"Renfield" scheduled for 2023, Nicolas Cage plays a vampire

"Rainfield," a new Universal Monster Universe film starring Nicolas Cage, started shooting in early February and is scheduled to be released in North America on April 14, 2023.

This is a vampire film starring Nicholas Hoult, Nicolas Cage, and Awkwafina, and directed by Chris McKay. Hoult plays Renfield and Cage plays the vampire Dracula.

Rainfield is a character in Bram Stoker's novel Dracula. He is an inmate of a mental hospital who is believed to be suffering from delusions, but his true identity is actually Dracula's servant.

According to the plan, the film will move the time background to the modern era, and like the previous "The Invisible Man", the whole story will be unfolded from another perspective.
