"No Time to Die", which was released in 2021, is the farewell work of James Bond starring Daniel Craig. More than three years have passed since then, and the cast of the new 007 movie is still undecided. However, Jennifer Salke, president of Amazon Studios, is not worried. She said: "I think there are a lot of ideas about potential actors, and these ideas are very interesting. I think we can take a lot of different approaches. We have a good and close relationship with Eon (British production company Eon Productions, also the creator of the 007 series of films), Barbara (Broccoli) and Michael (G. Wilson, the two are the main managers of Eon). We don't want to disrupt the way these wonderful movies are made. For us, we are following their example. The global audience will wait patiently. We don't want the movies to be too long apart, but we are not worried at the moment." Although most of Daniel Craig's 007 films were released only two or three years apart, it took six years from "Spectre" (2015) to "No Time to Die", so audiences may have to wait for a while before they can see a new Bond movie on the big screen. |
