"Black Widow" talks about suing Disney and is afraid of being blacklisted, but she has to stand up for herself

After the release of Black Widow this summer, Scarlett Johansson sued Disney. She said Disney violated her contract by simultaneously releasing the film on its streaming service Disney+, and that her salary depended mainly on the box office revenue of the film, which would be affected after the film was released on streaming. Disney initially countered that this was a "carefully planned" PR stunt by Scarlett, but she eventually received strong support from her peers in the industry, and the lawsuit was settled in September.

Recently, Scarlett Johansson talked about the lawsuit against Disney in an interview with the Associated Press. She said it is important to know your own value and stand up for yourself, and she has been working in this industry for a long time. It has been almost 30 years, and she has seen a lot of changes in these 30 years.

Scarlett also said that after suing Disney, she has been worried about being included in the "industry blacklist" and may not be able to engage in related work in the future. But fortunately, the spirit of the times is changing. She was not treated like this, and Disney even continued to sign her for a "top-secret" Marvel project that has nothing to do with the Black Widow role.

Marvel director Kevin Feige also recently revealed that Scarlett Johansson is one of the most talented, versatile and beloved actors of this era. It is a real pleasure to work with someone like her. From those epic training sessions for the corridor battle action scenes in "Iron Man 2" to the recent global promotion activities in "Avengers: Endgame" and the cooperation as a producer of "Black Widow", working with Scarlett is one of the most memorable and rewarding collaborations in his career.
