New footage from the live-action Minecraft movie shows how to use a workbench to forge a metal sword

The live-action "Minecraft" movie did not receive a very high response after the release of the first promotional trailer. However, a new movie clip was released during the recent "Minecraft Live" live event, which aroused the interest of many people.

"Minecraft" live-action movie new clip preview video:

In this preview video of less than 1 minute, you can see that Steve, played by Jack Black, is instructing the protagonists on how to use the workbench correctly, and personally demonstrates how to use materials and a hammer to magically "ding" out a metal sword.

Jason Momoa, who plays the "junk man" Garrett Garrison, was not to be outdone. He poured out a pile of materials on the workbench, and then used a hammer to create two connected metal buckets. Seeing this, Steve comforted the "junk man" that things like this (although not swords) are also very useful here.

In addition, the live broadcast event also showcased the uniquely cute cube bees, and the live-action movie "Minecraft" will be released in the United States on April 4, 2025.
