Crossbones actor reveals how difficult it is to be an actor in Marvel movies: He was almost fired by Marvel 36 times

Frank Grillo, who played the villain "Crossbones" in "Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier", "Captain America 3: Civil War" and "Avengers 4: Endgame", may be one of the actors most anticipated to return among MCU fans.

However, Frank Grillo recently revealed in an interview that he was almost fired by Marvel for accidentally leaking too much information about the movie - more than once.

This was revealed in reference to Grillo's current role in the new film: "You know, unfortunately, I can't say anything without getting in trouble. So I have to step back and say, 'I'll take number five.' I'm terrible at this. Like, Marvel almost fired me 36 times for not understanding (the content of the film). I never want to lie. So, I say a little bit more. But I've been warned."

Frank Grillo has now joined the new "DC Extended Universe" and voiced Commander Rick Flagg II in "Bio Commando". He will also play the role in real life in the second season of "Peacemaker" and the new "Superman".

However, this does not mean that Grillo has completely left Marvel's MCU. At least he has given positive comments on his experiences in Marvel and DC. He said: "At this stage in my life, I think everything is real. As a mature man, I have learned that if they ask me to do this, I will be happy to go back."
